… approachable, friendly, understanding, and entirely professional. Your report was produced in very good time, and was readable, thorough, and of high quality. We all enjoyed working with you…
If it wasn't for you then my children would both be in a very different place to the one they are in today. The way you handled the children was also very helpful…
Paul Sanderson was great - explaining to us exactly what would be involved, arranging the assessment at our convenience, working well with my son and discussing the results with us afterwards…
I was nervous when mum said she thought I was dyslexic because I didn't understand it and when I met Paul he explained everything, so it was okay. I don't mind being dyslexic now.
The school has implemented all of Paul's' suggestions. Due to this, our son is progressing educationally and socially every day which has raised his confidence in himself and he's so much happier.

I have been an Educational Psychologist for over 20 years, with experience working with the NHS, Local Authorities and a wide range of schools, colleges and universities. I now work with private clients on an individual basis.
I have considerable experience in a range of specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, as well as in developmental disorders such as Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism.
Following my undergraduate degree at the University of Warwick, I completed my postgraduate studies at the University of Sussex and Swansea University. Before qualifying as a psychologist, I also worked for three years as a teacher at the internationally renowned Chailey Heritage School in Sussex, which specialises in the care and support of youngsters who have complex and severe disabilities. This was followed by a period of Local Authority employment as a teacher which culminated in my appointment as the Teacher in Charge of a special unit for youngsters with Autism.
Since qualifying as an Educational Psychologist in 1990, I have held several educational and clinical posts and was for some years Principal Psychologist for People with Learning Disabilities for South Downs NHS Trust.
